On Sunday, May 18, 2008, 2 p.m. one thousand or more concerned citizens will carry signs bearing the names or coordinates of each of the over 2,751 villages in Darfur that have been destroyed or damaged during the past four years. Participants will march from Freedom Corner and ring the Federal Building downtown with the signs. We invite all Darfuri asylees, refugees, expatriates within traveling distance to join us. Along with students and all other concerned individuals, we invite all clergy leaders and community leaders and all local, state and federal governmental representatives from Western Pennsylvania to attend.
