Our Brand

Brand and Website Relaunch

For longtime supporters of Genocide Intervention Network, you will notice we have relaunched our brand and website to align with our strategic direction in 2010. Our new brand seeks to capture and communicate the organization's core values and direction.

Five years ago, we adopted the image of ‘a hand’ as our original logo, seeking to inspire people to take bold action and to stop ongoing atrocities. People across the country have heeded the call.

Today, our logo represents a bolder and more contemporary design that relies on the inherent tension between the two parts of our work:  “Genocide” – the horror and devastation faced by many around the world and “Intervention” – our responsibility to take action in the face of it.

The fading line in between the words "genocide" and "intervention" suggests that the worst atrocities are not unstoppable.

This new brand does not represent a legal name change for Genocide Intervention Network. The organization's name remains the same. The word ‘Network’ was not included in the logo to simplify it, but remains an enduring element of our name, work and core principles.

We invite you to learn more about us on our new website. If you have questions, feedback or would like to request a high resolution logo for your materials, contact us directly at info@genocideintervention.net

Thank you for your continued support.
